Reality Dance’s Summer Jam concertmade a stop in Philadelphia last weekend, bringing along today’s hottest up-and-coming artists. IM5 Band, Nick Mara, Maddi Jane, Frank Palangi, Tracey DeLara, and Girl Squad were among the young stars that performed at the Theater of Living Arts on July 28th.
Summer Jam is a concert series hosted by Reality FameTV and Reality Dance (realitydance.net), an organization that produces and airs two TV shows. Their mission is to promote ant-bullying, with their motto being, “We don’t bully. We just dance.” Caroline Bollentino, one of the teen hosts for Reality Dance, called the company “a family”. She said “[…] we interview a lot of celebrities too [on the show], so we can get the message to them and get them on board with us and supporting our show and anti-bullying.”
Throughout the day, Summer Jam offered a wide range of activities where fans could interact with their favorite star. The schedule included dance battles, live performances, red carpet, meet-and-greets, and dance workshops. In addition, Reality Dance stated that the event would be televised on the National Dish Network Content Chunk.
IM5, a rising boy band consisting of five members ages 14-17, had fan-girls lined up outside hours before the show started. They are currently working on their debut album while touring the country and headlining at events like Summer Jam. During an interview before IM5’s Summer Jam performance, 17-year-old Will Jay said, “Hopefully we can get some music out very, very soon!”. Watch the full interview:

He is beginning to expand his career beyond dancing to become “a triple threat, like an actor, dancer, and singer”. Mara says Chris Brown inspired him to pursue his newest endeavors. “He started out dancing, like I am […],” says Nick. See his full interview:
